Presenter Highlights: DeAnne Flynn & S. Michael Wilcox

{Please check out the REG BY CITY to see how things are going in your area}
WEEKLY BUSINESS
FOLLOW UP:  Last week we asked you to go out and find scholarship recipients and hopefully you've got some scholarship opportunities brewing...we're still at zero scholarships in the system and we really really want to make sure that women who want to come can come regardless of their financial situation.  Remember that the scholarship program is NOT advertised, so anyone who might need it will need to hear about it from you.  If you feel shy about offering it because it feels awkward, just put the word out there that friends can help friends get scholarships.  Often women won't talk to you directly about their financial need, but they MAY talk to their friends who are going.  Let your lead know if you have questions or concerns or share on the FB page if you have a great idea about scholarships.

I am so blessed to be the mother of four amazing kids and sometimes life tends to get me so busy with everything that I forget to take time for them so today I left exactly 27 piles of stuff and took them swimming! We had a blast and now it's back to the piles!
Can't wait for time out!

I cleaned my bathrooms with my kids instead of just making them do it. They were in need of some reteaching.

I made a list of things that needed done. I only got a few done, but heck...that's better than none right?

I went and visited a widow in my ward with my husband. She just lost her husband and is missing him so much!

I let some stressful things go and just hung out with my kids. Usually I am trying to set them aside so I can get stuff done and today I let them know that they were important.

I made a good breakfast for my family this morning, even though I was so tempted to just let them fend for themselves. Now they will have full tummies all morning and be happier! It was also nice to sit around the breakfast table together :)

I spent the morning manning the county fair and setting up concessions with my 4H kids and my own kids! Made 100 bags of cotton candy, popcorn, and snowcones! Then watched my youngest in the bounce house for what seemed likes days. . . OH, to be young again! Now heading back to the fair to play old fashioned games with the community! Come join us!

I got up early this morning and picked two big bags of green beans from our garden and took them to our friends.
What a joy to have a garden!

I tended my two nephews for my working sister today. I have two of my own and during the school year we trade tending when I work, but through the summer I just tend hers. At times it seems so hectic, and I wonder why we do it...but when she came to pick them up she was so gracious and thankful, and I realized how grateful I am to be so close to my family!

A few years ago I found that I was focusing on all the things I didn't get done! This was bringing me down and making life miserable. So I started listing every night all the good things I accomplished. Then making a list for the next day. If I accomplished one thing from my list it was a GOOD Day!
