Registration: We are at 48% of our registration goal for TOFW, and we should see it fly in the next few weeks as you get those groups that you've been gathering registered! Your excitement about TOFW in Richfield is contagious and everyone is going to catch on! Keep going!
Scholarships: Keep looking for women who could benefit from our scholarship program! We've only had 3 scholarships set aside! Refresh your memory on how the program works at the Scholarship page!
Checking in:Captains will be checking in with you to get a report on how you feel the word is spreading in your area. Be expecting a phone call from your team captain in the next week and be prepared to give her a report. If you really want to make her day, you can CALL HER! Everything you report to them will be reported back to me, so please make an effort to give a good report so we at the TOFW office have a really good feel of the TOFW pulse in Richfield!

WEEKLY FOCUS
GATHER YOUR GROUPS!
Our group DISCOUNTED pricing is only available through September 13th, so make sure EVERYONE knows that the best time to register is NOW! We would like each team member to try to find at least 6 women to take the lead in registering a group. That's right! We want YOU to take the lead on registering groups! That will be 24 women (at least) per team member, which means that together we will be able to find another 1200 women and reach our GOAL!
Here's some ideas of how to gather a group:

1) Have a registration party! Invite everyone over for some treats and then register together at the party so you can all get the group discount and gather money at once. But don't wait too long...in case of early sell out! A "virtual" party works too.
2) Do a shout out on Facebook to see if anyone out there needs a group to register with. If they respond, add them you YOUR group!
4) Ask everyone in YOUR group to invite 1 friend to join the group. That would DOUBLE the size of the group!
3) Dress in a tiara and evening gown (modest of course) and stand on the corner with a "TOFW or Bust" sign.

4) OK, so 3 wasn't very realistic, but use your creative mind and determined excitement for TOFW and get those groups to register before prices go up!

SHARE CHALLENGE!
An e-mail from TOFW: We sent an email to all of our Deseret Book customers in the area reminding them that Time Out for Women pre-registration is in full swing! Please share the email with everyone just in case they didn't get it from us. And make sure they know the deadline is FAST APPROACHING!

I'm reminding everyone that I've talked to that time is running out! I hadn't thought of suggesting that groups of 4 think of one more person to add to their group. I'll get on that!
I'm mainly gathering groups through contacts I have with friends, on Facebook, and by passing out flyers. We currently have a couple of groups forming. We'll work more to push the numbers higher. :)

Would love to see pictures of the ladies in dresses and tiara's holding the sign! That would be hilarious! A few people I have spoken to have already registered their group, as well as had a registration party last week (GO LACY!!). This year is seems to be harder to get people from our area interested. I don't know what it is, but whatever the reason, I do know they will definitely be missing out if they do not attend!
It does seem harder this year. When I say Richfield people are a little discourage but ladies I know with extended family or in laws in Central Utah are excited because they automatically have people to register with and somewhere to stay!
Lately, as soon as I see someone I had given a flyer to earlier, she will immediately tell me she has sent in her group registration- or that she is getting her group organized. I was so careful last month, and I took great care to get the flyers into the hands of women I KNEW would want to attend if they could. I'm excited about the group I personally registered and I talk it up to soccer moms and grannies alike!

My daughter suggested that it might be a good idea to talk to some of the young fathers in the ward and see if they would like to do something for their sweetheart and buy her a ticket for TOFW. I thought that was a great idea, so tonight at our ward party I talked to a couple of men and they said yes! I even offered to register for them if they would get a group of others guys to go in together to get the group discount. They loved that idea and are working on getting groups together.

All of the people that I have talked to that are going are already registered. But I have a Ward Party coming up next weekend, I think I will follow Kara's lead!
I know 2 people that still haven't registered with their groups yet. They are waiting on a few commitments from people. A few ladies I have talked to are involved with the Stake Baptisms the day of TOFW and so they are not going to be able to attend. I also know a lot of ladies in town having babies right around the same time. But I'm still trying to stay positive and find those ladies out there who want to go but haven't signed up yet!

I think I'm going to go old school and try picking up the phone and calling a few people to see if they have registered yet. I am so excited for this event I can hardly wait. Going to do a facebook push too!

I love telling people about the $10 discount so they feel a need to get a group together in the first place!! Then the urgency comes from them wanting a better deal instead of me pushing them. It's a win-win situation :)
