Where Can I Turn for Peace--Hymn 219 is one of my favorite! Each word strikes a cord letting us know we are NEVER alone! Jenny was here in Richfield last night and my daughter went with a friend and said she was incredible!
Hymn 98, I Need Thee Every Hour, for me chases away sadness and fear as the prayerful words of this hymn bring me the needed power and strength from our Savior. The words to I Need Thee Every Hour are a giant reminder that Heaven's help is ready at every moment.
We play Jenny Oaks Baker's wonderful CDs Sunday mornings as we get ready for church. Her amazing music brings peace and the spirit.

I heard Jenny for the first time at TOFW in St. George last year. Her music was beautiful. I have too many favorite hymns to pick one - it depends on what is going on in my life, they all mean something different for me and are favorites at different times.

I loved Jenny's humble presentation when I heard her last year. Her music was simply beautiful. Favorite hymn? How Great Thou Art.
My favorite hymn depends on the mood of the day! Today - "Battle Hymn of the Republic" It's an action song!

I have a few. Music is very healing and I love it. I love Come Thou Fount, Because I Have Been Given Much and Lead, Kindly Light.
Actually, the first time I heard Jenny Oaks Baker, she played Come Thou Font on her violin . It was truly moving. I love the music to that one more than the words because Miss Jenny made me love it. I hope she plays it again this year. I love it!

My favorite Hymn has always been Because I Have Been Given Much, but I really like Praise to the Man also....Lisa Cox
I agree with those that said they have many favorites and it just depends on what's happening in our lives. I know every time I hear Praise to the Man I get serious goosebumps. The other song that I love and cry every time is I Believe in Christ. I could just keep going now that we're on this topic.... I am looking forward to all the music it is such a great way to invite the spirit.

My all time favorite hymn is Lead Kindly Light. It helps me remember that I am NOT supposed to be in charge. It is my job to follow Him! I know we in Richfield are all super excited about Jenny! She did an amazing job here the other night! WE ADORE HER!!

One of my very favorite hymns that brings me peace is I Need Thee Every Hour. It always helps me realize that I don't have to do anything alone and that there is always a loving Heavenly Father waiting to help me through each day.
So excited for Jenny Oaks Baker! I heard her play at Women's Conference last year and it was amazing! What an amazing talented woman!

My calling is Ward Chorister and I have learned to love all of the Hymns, each one has a special message that can touch all of us at different times in our lives. I am so Grateful for them.
I have only been to TOFW twice and both times Jenny Oaks Baker was the musical presenter. The first time I heard her, I was caught off guard by how moving her music is. It truly spoke to my spirit. So beautiful! I love so many hymns, but one that makes me feel happy and grateful is "For the Beauty of the Earth."
There are so many beautiful music pieces its hard to choose. Maybe my favorite is Come Thou Font. I loved it before We went to Kirtland and it made me love and feel it that much more more while we were there. I also like Brightly Beams Our Father's Mercy because of the great reminder that we are the lower lights constantly burning helping others in the stormy seas of life so they can return to our Father who is the light house. Marsha Taylor
"I Need Thee Every Hour" is one of my favorites. I would hum it to my baby when I'd rock her to sleep. Many others make me cry also.
Can't wait to hear Jenny's music again! She was absolutely fabulous in St. George!!!
I think my favorite hymn would be "Have I Done Any Good" It always help me get perspective and helps me remember that when I am in the service of my fellow beings I am in the service of my God.
